Over the years, he also founded and invested in various construction and infrastructure companies, which, following the Judlau sale, became the basis of Iovino Enterprises. In recognition of his successful career, Tom was honored with the prestigious 2012 Member Award for outstanding achievements in construction by The Moles, a trade organization of the heavy construction industry.

In Haiti alone, the foundation serves 15,000 meals per week, has a staff of 35, and works with 500 farmers per season to test soil, provide better-quality seeds, and help farmers maximize their earning potential. Tom is embarking on several additional philanthropic endeavors through the new Iovino Family Foundation, including launching the Impact Prize.
