Tom Iovino

Founder & CEO, Iovino Enterprises

With over 40 years of experience as a visionary leader in the construction and infrastructure space, Tom Iovino is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Iovino Enterprises, a group of affiliated companies in the greater NYC area that perform civil and general contracting, track, signal, and mechanical work. Collectively, Iovino Enterprises is one of the largest specialty contracting enterprises dedicated to improving New York City’s public transportation infrastructure.

Prior to Iovino Enterprises, Tom served as Chief Executive Officer of OHL North America, a national construction firm, where he oversaw the operations of OHL North America and its divisions. In 1981, he founded Judlau Contracting Inc. and led this company to over $650M in revenue before its eventual sale to OHL. Over the years, he also founded and invested in various construction and infrastructure companies, which, following the Judlau sale, became the basis of Iovino Enterprises. In recognition of his successful career, Tom was honored with the prestigious 2012 Member Award for outstanding achievements in construction by The Moles, a trade organization of the heavy construction industry.

Tom has been an active philanthropist and volunteer throughout his career with several public service organizations, including serving as President of the Suffolk County Family Service League and serving as a hospital volunteer for 20 years. In 2002, Tom founded the iF Foundation, an international non-profit organization with a focus on global economic development. In Haiti alone, the foundation serves 15,000 meals per week, has a staff of 35, and works with 500 farmers per season to test soil, provide better-quality seeds, and help farmers maximize their earning potential. Tom is embarking on several additional philanthropic endeavors through the new Iovino Family Foundation, including launching the Impact Prize.
